HOW TO BE A PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER???

 The global market is having a boom in manufacturing sector. And manufacturing sector is closely connected to design engineering. You need to know how of the "latest software" (software skills like: - auto cad, ansys, solid works, etc.) available in the area of design engineering

Let’s make it straight that knowing software does not make you qualified enough to be a product design engineer. Designing does not just about know few commands and tools available on the software. In industries, as a design engineer, you will never get a 2D drawing to be built as a model. 

To be able to design a CAD Models is not enough.

Most of us are good designers. But in a broad spectrum, it takes more to be a design engineer.

Before you start designing on any CAD platform, always asks yourself the following question:-

1. What is the product and its applications?

2. How does the product function?

3. What could be the possible alternatives to this design?

The designer should be aware of the functionality& basic manufacturing processes is very important.
